借閱證申請 Library Card Application
可申請借閱證之讀者類型 / Type of Readers
本所人員：包括研究人員（含研究人員、研究技師、訪問學人及博士後研究員)、行政人員、約用助理、研究生（國際學程）及退休人員。
*亦受理環變中心之人員申請。
IES faculty, staff, assistants, students, and retirees can apply for library cards via the IES library.
*We are also responsible for the applications of the RCEC personnel.院外人士（相關科系領域）：請備證件。
Visitors in related research/study fields may also apply for library cards with identification documents.

入館須知 Admission Rules
敬請遵守以下規定，以維護圖書館環境。Please follow the rules below to ensure a safe environment in the library.
本所人員進入圖書館，請攜帶工作證。
Faculty & Staff must have an identification card to enter the library.院外人士（相關科系領域），須年滿18歲才能申請借閱證。
Visitors in related research areas must be at least 18 years old to apply for the library card.請勿攜帶任何違禁品，或寵物。
Please do not bring in any contraband goods, or pets.行動電話等個人設備，請將之設為靜音模式。
Phones or personal devices must be set to vibrate or silent mode.任何人不得以噪音、肢體暴力或任何其他不合理之手段，干擾他人使用圖書館。
No one shall disturb the work or comfort of another person in the library in an unreasonable manner by creating unreasonable noise, physical violence, or other unreasonable means.
流通規則 Circulation Services Policies
本所人員：包括研究人員（含研究人員、研究技師、訪問學人及博士後研究員)、正式行政人員、約用助理、研究生（國際學程）及退休人員。
IES faculty, staff, assistants, students, and retired members種類：圖書、裝訂期刊、光碟
Material type: Books, bound journals, CDs冊數：50冊
# of items: up to 50 items.期限：三個月；借書時，若該書有其他本所人員預約，借期將縮短。
Loan Period: 3 months. If a book is requested by another user upon checking out, the loan period will be shortened.
所外院內人員 AS faculty/staff
種類：圖書
Material type: Books冊數：20冊
# of items: up to 20 items.期限：一個月
Loan Period: 1 month.
院外人士(相關科系領域) Visitors in related fields
種類：圖書
Material type: Books冊數：5冊
# of items: up to 5 items.期限：一個月
Loan Period: 1 month.院外人士借書，必要時得要求以有效證件抵押或押金。
If necessary, we may request the deposit of a guarantee or valid documents for the borrowing of the books.
借閱圖書資源時，請攜借書證，將欲借閱圖書及借書證交給館員，辦理借書手續。
Patrons may check out items with a valid library card at the service desk.借出圖書資源若無人預約或未被圖書館催還，得續借2次。
Items that have not been requested by another borrower, or recalled by the library are eligible for renewal. Patrons may renew circulating items up to 2 times.借出圖書資源不得劃線或污損，並應準時歸還，若借出當下已有污損，請立即告知館員。
Patrons are responsible for returning borrowed items on time and in good condition. Any defect or damage to a book should be reported to the librarians immediately.借出圖書若有遺失或嚴重毀損，借閱者應依《中央研究院各所圖書館統一服務收費標準表》賠償。
Patrons will be responsible for loss or damage to any book in their records, and will be required to pay the full value of replacement. <Academia Sinica's regulations on library service fee>於館內使用的圖書資料，若不需要借出，請放置於還書車，或交由館員歸架。
Please place the books that need to be put away on the return cart and leave the shelving to the librarians.
